All Indian citizens who had arrived in Kathmandu to travel to Saudi Arabia are hereby informed that Nepal Airlines and Himalaya Airlines have been authorized by the Government of Nepal to operate limited charter flights from Kathmandu to Jeddah/Riyadh and Dammam for this purpose. The operation of such flights is subject to landing permit and other necessary permissions from the General Authority of Civil Aviation, Government of Saudi Arabia.

Passengers will need to comply with the Government of Saudi Arabia’s Covid-related and other rules and regulations.

   Notice regarding No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Indian Nationals travelling to third
                                                                 countries from Nepal

Indian Nationals who travel from India to Nepal by air route on Indian passport (with clear immigration stamp) do not require No Objection Certificate ( NOC) with affect from April 22, 2021 upto June 19, 2021 to travel to third countries. 

However, the requirement of NOC for those who enter Nepal from India by land route or by air 
route , but using ID other than passport to travel to third countries will require NOC from Embassy of India, Kathmandu.

Immigration authorities at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA), Kathmandu are informed about this 
change, who will facilitate the travel of Indian nationals to third countries as mentioned above.
