ANNOUNCEMENT OF “INDIA SCIENCE AND RESEARCH FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME, 2019”

The Ministry of Science & Technology (Department of Science & Technology), Government of India, New Delhi, invites applications from citizens/permanent residents of Nepal for the “India Science and Research Fellowship Programme 2019”. This fellowship provides opportunities to researchers/scientists from Nepal to undertake R & D work in Indian Universities and Research Institutions for about 3 – 6 months in various areas of science and technology. The Department of Science & Technology would be providing travel support, sustenance allowance and contingency grant under this fellowship programme.

Brochure containing eligibility, scope and duration of fellowship and other details, and Application Form can be downloaded from the websites of (i) Centre for Co-operation in Science & Technology among Developing Societies (CCSTDS) at www.ccstds.tn.nic.in and (ii) the Department of Science & Technology at www.dst.gov.in .

Interested researchers and scientists may please apply using prescribed Form and submit it to the Secretary, Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST), GPO Box: 3323, Khumaltar, Lalitpur, Nepal, Email: secretary@nast.gov.np . Deadline for receiving application is January 31, 2019.
